Unlocking Opportunity Tour 2026: Nashville

Join the American Property Owners Alliance for the latest stop on our Unlocking Opportunity Tour at Lake Providence Missionary Baptist Church in Nashville on Sunday, July 26th. Our program will explore the role of homeownership in building and maintaining generational wealth, expanding opportunity, and addressing the wealth gaps that have affected generations of Black families.

This conversation will focus on the unique challenges Nashville residents face on the path to homeownership, including affordability, access to credit, saving for a down payment, and navigating today’s housing market. Attendees will hear from industry professionals, financial services leaders, community voices, and local leaders on the importance of homeownership as a tool for long-term stability and wealth building.

The panel will also walk through key parts of the homebuying process, including how to prepare financially, improve creditworthiness, save for a home, and ask the right questions when working with real estate agents, lenders, underwriters, and inspectors. This event is designed to give families practical information, helpful resources, and a clearer path toward building and maintaining wealth through homeownership for years to come.
