I am a teacher and can’t afford to rent or buy a decent home in a safe neighborhood on my salary. My sisters and I have put our parents house and property up for sale (now ours). Selling would help me to make large down payment on a small house to have a very small affordable mortgage. However, the housing prices are very high and I am concerned I will still have a huge mortgage payment. What option do people have who don’t have a solution like mine? America has a big crisis!
